I, Lexie Rojas, reporter of BSPN, interviewed three participants of boy sports at Saint Brendan High School. These three young men are part of three different sports: volleyball, lacrosse, and basketball. Over the summer, these three young athletes trained by coming to conditioning for their sport, open gym, and practice was occasionally held in the weight room so that the athletes could improve their strength.  This also helped them keep the muscle mass they had already obtained.

The young men I interviewed were asked what advice they would give new athletes joining a sport.

Hey, Sabres!

Josh Centurion answered, "Even though it's a lot of hard work, it pays off in the end."

Louis Moya said, "Volleyball is a team sport, and everyone has to work hard together to succeed together."

Christopher Tapanes stated, "Basketball is a game that requires a lot of focus, intensity, and consistency."
