Sabres Give Back

The junior currently with the most hours in her class is Maria Castillo. Since freshmen year, she has accumulated approximately 763.5 hours. Maria has done the majority of her hours helping the athletic trainer, Dianny. Every time there is a sporting event taking place, she is there to assist in the physical therapy. She has chosen to complete her hours here because of her interest in sports medicine. She is inspired by the idea of helping others, making a difference in her school. Maria finds that her service has helped her learn about herself, how to properly help others, and how to work in a team. Maria Castillo is a prime example of how you can take something you enjoy and apply it to give back to the community.
